Privacy Policy

Last Update: [21/07/2025]

We at Kids Songs Learning Hub are dedicated to keeping kids and their families safe and private.  This policy explains how we gather, use, and protect data on our platform, which has songs and other kid-friendly material.  We follow all child protection laws, such as the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which is a U.S. federal law that says you need permission from a parent to collect personal information from kids under 13. We also follow the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Union, which stresses data rights and openness.  We want to make a safe and entertaining place to be without invading anyone's privacy.  Please email us at [Your Contact Email] if you have any questions.

 A. The Information We Gather
We just gather the bare minimum of information we need to run our site well and make sure users have a good time.  We always put child safety first when we handle data. We  will never intentionally acquire personal information from kids without getting their parents' permission first, and we utilize secure methods to check age and consent (such email verification).  Here's a list:

Personal Information (Only collected with proof of parental permission):

For User Accounts: We might ask a parent for their email address so that we can provide youngsters access and keep track of it.  This lets parents keep an eye on what their kids are doing online, such making profiles or getting access to paid content.
For Newsletters and Updates: If you choose to receive them, we will gather your name and email address so that we may give you updates about new songs, educational ideas, or site features.  You don't have to opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any moment by clicking a link in the email.
What We Never Get:  We don't keep or collect private information like a child's full name, home address, phone number, location data, or any other information that could be used to identify them.  This helps keep things like unauthorized contact and data breaches from happening.
Automatically collected non-personal data for site improvement:

Cookies and similar technologies are little text files that can be saved on any of your device to make things work better. For eg, they can remember your language preferences, keep track of your progress in interactive activities, or keep you logged in.  Your browser settings let you control or turn off cookies (see Section C for more on this).
Analytics Data: We utilize tools like Google Analytics to collect anonymous data about things like page visits, session length, device type (like mobile or desktop), and general location (like country level, not individual addresses).  This information doesn't keep track of who is using the site, but it does help us figure out how people use it so we can make it better. For example, we can find out which songs are the most popular so we can make more interesting material.
All data is collected safely and stored on servers that meet security standards to lower the risks.

 B. How We Use Information
We utilize the information we collect in a responsible way to improve our services and help users, always keeping child safety in mind.  Data is never shared for reasons that could hurt or take advantage of kids.

Anonymous analytics help us figure out trends, including which educational songs or activities are the most fun, so we can improve and expand what we provide (for example, by adding additional interactive rhymes based on how popular they are).
Answering Questions:  We only utilize the contact information that parents give us (such email) to answer inquiries, give help, or handle account requests.
Advertising: We don't utilize personal information to send targeted ads to kids.  If advertising show up on our site (such for non-personalized promotions), they follow COPPA rules, which means they are kid-friendly and dependent on the content of the page, not on user data.  We never give or sell data to third-party advertisers for marketing reasons.
We only maintain information for as long as we need it for these purposes, and then we safely destroy it (for example, when an account is closed).

 C. Rights and Controls of Parents
You are the only one who can see your child's data as a parent or guardian.  We give you simple ways to control your privacy:

Requests for Access, Deletion, or Opt-Out:  You can ask to see, change, delete, or limit the use of any data that has been collected at any time.  Just send us an email at [Your Contact Email], and we'll get back to you within 30 days (or sooner if you're in the EU).  You can, for instance, choose not to receive newsletters or cancel your account altogether.
Manage Cookies: You may turn off or block cookies right in your web browser settings. For example, in Chrome, go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies.  Keep in mind that this could limit some site functions, such as remembered preferences.
More Rights Under GDPR (for EU Users): If it applies to you, you have the right to data portability (for example, exporting your data) and the right to object to processing.  We do regular privacy impact evaluations to make sure we are following the rules.
If you're worried about what your child is doing online, we suggest utilizing parental controls or keeping an eye on them.

 D. Sharing data with other people
We only work with providers that are safe for kids and that we trust to deliver content. We never sell your data to anyone.

Kid-Safe Platforms: For videos or features that are built in, we use platforms like YouTube Kids, which have built-in protections against collecting data from kids and showing them harmful information.
Service Providers:  We might share some non-personal data with analytics companies (like Google) or hosting services, but only if they agree to follow COPPA, GDPR, and our privacy rules.  Without permission, no personal information is disclosed.
No Sales of Data:  We don't sell, rent, or trade any user data to advertisers or other outside parties.  If a firm changes (such a merger), data would only move if the same level of privacy protection was in place.

We look over our policy every so often and make adjustments to it to keep up with changes in the law or how we do things.  We'll let users know by email or site announcements if there are any big changes.  Thank you for trusting us with your family's privacy. Your comments help us do better!
